Biography

Dr. Chang believes that the key to competent representation in patent matters is the ability to quickly and fully understand the technology involved in each case. Dr. Chang has extensive experiences with both general practice and boutique law firms, as well as both international and startup technology companies. In addition to English, Dr. Chang is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in German. Dr. Chang has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the U.S., China, and Taiwan. He has also represented parties in patent litigations before the US district courts and in post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for patents in concurrent district court litigations, resulting in favorable settlements for the client.
